What is the AC THOR 9s?

The AC THOR 9s is a photovoltaic power manager for hot water and heating; it continuously regulates up to 9 kW across up to three heat sources, depending on the available PV energy and heat demand. It communicates via a network with inverters, battery systems and smart home control systems, receiving information on how much photovoltaic energy is available. Any shortfall in energy is drawn from the public electricity grid, so it is no longer necessary to manually start the heating system.

Better than conventional heat generators

For PV systems with outputs of 5 to 10 kWp, the AC THOR 9 achieves annual performance factors (based on grid consumption) that are significantly higher than typical values. This makes electric space heating environmentally friendly and cost-effective for the first time.
