The SMA eCharger is precisely tailored to the needs of its users. Its intelligent charging modes enable forecast-based operation that adapts to individual usage patterns. Thanks to automatic phase switching, electric vehicles can be charged using self-generated electricity even when solar output is low. The unique combination of grid power and single-phase solar power allows vehicles to be charged up to twice as fast as with standard wallboxes, whilst complying with all regulations. Installation and operation are flexible, safe and convenient thanks to SMA Smart Connected and a 5-year warranty. The SMA eCharger is also well-equipped for the future – thanks to its easy adaptation to dynamic tariff structures and the option for bidirectional AC charging (AC-Bidi).
