Kostal PLENTICORE MP G3 Backup Switch

The manual KOSTAL BackUp Switch MP, when used in conjunction with the PLENTICORE MP G3 series, solar energy and a connected battery, allows you to continue supplying your home with power in the event of a power cut. To do this, the KOSTAL BackUp Switch MP is installed as part of the building services system and connected to the inverter. In the event of a mains power cut, simply switch manually to the home network and the inverter will continue to supply you with power.

• Manual single-phase grid switch
• Compatible with all inverters in the PLENTICORE MP G3 series
• Integrated cable break detection for the switch position output signal
• Compact and space-saving installation: only 8 modular units are required. The BackUp Switch MP therefore fits perfectly on the same DIN rail alongside the KOSTAL Energy Meter MP.
• Can be installed in an existing sub-distribution board or in a separate enclosure
• Convenient wiring options: one output each for loads in backup mode and in mains mode
• Suitable for domestic connections up to 63A
• Connection of a local neutral point simulation is possible
