Scalable power for any system configuration

The three-phase SMA Sunny Tripower Hybrid X inverter offers an impressive power range from 20 kVA to 30 kVA. Thanks to four independent MPP trackers, it simplifies planning even for complex roof structures and is suitable for private homes and small commercial installations. Furthermore, up to five hybrid inverters can be operated in parallel.

When combined with the SMA Home Storage or SMA Storage M battery storage system, a storage capacity of up to 49 kWh is possible, whilst the optional SMA Backup ensures a backup power supply for the entire building. As a partial backup solution, a socket can be connected directly to the inverter.

Simple commissioning

The SMA Sunny Tripower Hybrid X can be commissioned quickly and easily via the SMA 360° app. The integrated System Manager also enables simple networking and control of up to 10 subordinate devices.

Integrated cloud-based energy management

The SMA Energy Maximizer, available as a paid service, is an integrated energy management system that automatically and conveniently optimises energy costs to the lowest possible level. Self-learning algorithms and prediction-based control further optimise the use of your own solar power and grid power consumption based on dynamic electricity tariffs, whilst the SMA Energy Planner allows for manual planning.

Furthermore, the cyber security architecture developed and operated by SMA, with cloud-based operations within an ISO 27001-certified organisational unit, ensures even greater security.

The SMA Sunny Tripower Hybrid X inverter is compatible with the SMA Home Storage, the SMA Storage M battery storage systems and the BYD HVS+, HVM+ and HVB Battery Boxes.
