Ohme ePod 22kW charging station

The Ohme ePod 22 kW is a compact and smart charging station for electric vehicles of all makes and models. With a maximum charging power of 22 kW when connected to a three-phase supply, it enables fast and convenient charging. When connected to a single-phase supply, up to 7.4 kW is available. The Wallbox is fitted with a Type 2 socket and is suitable for both wall and post mounting, indoors and outdoors.
It can be operated either via the three buttons on the unit itself or conveniently via the Ohme smartphone app. Thanks to an integrated 3G/4G Multinet SIM card, the charging station connects automatically to the mobile network. Firmware and software updates can be installed via over-the-air updates. The integrated load balancing system works with three CT clamps and enables the charging power to be intelligently adjusted to the building’s available power.

To ensure electrical safety, the Ohme ePod features residual current protection with a 30 mA Type A RCD and integrated 6 mA DC residual current detection. A separate overcurrent protection device must be provided as part of the installation. The robust design offers IP54 protection and IK10 impact resistance. With dimensions of just 220 × 150 × 140 mm and a weight of 1.7 kg, the charging station can be installed in a particularly space-saving manner.
