My-PV AC Elwa 2 heating element

The integrated solution for hot water using surplus PV energy. Also available as a hybrid storage system with a battery. The simplest way to optimise self-consumption.

More power: 3.5 kW

• Extremely simple installation: the heating element and the control unit can be fitted one after the other
• Easy to use thanks to a display similar to that on the AC THOR
• Multiple communication options: in addition to Ethernet RJ45, also Wi-Fi, RS485, PWM-in and a potential-free switching output
• Open system compatible with various inverters, battery systems and smart homes
• An external 3 kW heating element can be connected
• Can be installed in hot water and buffer tanks
• Continuously variable control for optimum energy utilisation
• Optional hot water backup
• Also suitable for residential buildings
• No thyristor controller; TAB/TAEV compliant

... with the my-PV WiFi Meter

When used in combination with the my-PV WiFi Meter, the AC ELWA 2 utilises only surplus energy from your photovoltaic system and can be installed in hot water and buffer storage tanks. The heating output is continuously regulated, meaning that virtually no energy is fed into the grid and your self-consumption increases significantly. Grid-connected PV systems achieve an average self-consumption of just 30 per cent. For an average household with a 5 kWp PV system, self-consumption can thus be easily increased to up to 75 per cent.

... with a smart home system or battery storage

Thanks to its open-system control, the AC ELWA 2 also communicates with energy management systems or battery storage units. As an alternative to the my-PV WiFi Meter, surplus energy data can therefore also be received from these sources.
