My-PV screw-in heating element, 3 kW, without thermostat

The screw-in heating elements have been developed specifically for use with the AC THOR (3 kW) and AC THOR 9s (9 kW) photovoltaic power managers and can be installed in fresh water and buffer tanks. Thanks to their special design, the thermal surface loads on the heating elements are very low, which directly contributes to extending the product’s service life. A safety temperature limiter is integrated. The desired hot water temperature can be set using a rotary knob. However, in some projects, higher temperatures are required, for example when a buffer tank needs to be heated to over 90°C. For this purpose, the screw-in heating elements are also available without a thermostat, fitted only with a safety temperature limiter. In such cases, the temperature sensor supplied with the AC THOR and AC THOR 9s must always be used to stop the heating process.
