AI-based energy management

In conjunction with the Fronius Smart Meter IP, the Energy Cost Assistant (ECA) uses advanced AI technology to optimise energy flows for maximum savings. It continuously analyses the projected PV output, current energy consumption and the current electricity price, and adjusts the storage strategy accordingly to achieve the best possible results.

The following components are required to use the Energy Cost Assistant:

• A Fronius Smart Meter IP to utilise the grid charging function
• The Fronius GEN24 Plus in the system with the appropriate software version (update expected to be available from May 2025)
• A battery storage system
• A Solar.web Premium subscription to use the feature
• A flexible electricity tariff for the customer
