HIKRA SOL H1Z2Z2-K solar cable – Robust quality for long-lasting photovoltaic systems

The HIKRA SOL solar cable has been developed to meet the most demanding requirements of modern photovoltaic systems. With its tinned, fine-stranded copper conductor in accordance with IEC 60228 Class 5 and high-quality XLPO insulation, it offers outstanding electrical and mechanical performance – even under demanding environmental conditions.

The cable complies with the EN 50618 (H1Z2Z2-K) and IEC 62930 standards and also holds TÜV certification in accordance with 2 PfG 2750 (PV 1500-WR). This makes the cable suitable not only for conventional rooftop and ground-mounted installations, but also for floating PV applications with increased requirements for water resistance and long-term stability.

The cross-linked XLPO outer sheath is extremely resistant to UV radiation, ozone, moisture, acids, alkalis and mechanical stresses such as pressure and impact. The halogen-free cable complies with CPR performance class Dca and is characterised by its flame-retardant properties and low smoke emission in the event of a fire.
